Restaurant Poseidon in Gross-Umstadt

Always a pleasure. Very tasty food, good quality and enough portions. Price-performance ratio is right for me. Hygiene measures were observed.

Today, Friday, 01/01/2021 I placed my order again. Delivery received on time according to the exact time specified. Ordered dishes perfect as always. We would especially like to praise the driver, also 5 stars.

Good cuisine and large portions at low prices, what more could you want?

The side salad is not a highlight. This is seasoned with vinegar and a lot of oil. The portions are sufficient. A piece of meat was handed over at one meal. There were no problems when the Schlemmerblock was presented. We had a nice stay. Parking space is available.

Totally disappointing !! Was there for dinner recently with my family. Unfortunately, it seemed as if the waitress who looked after our table, the menu of the restaurant was strange. The food didn't arrive at the same time either, some of us were already ready when the rest of the food arrived. As if that wasn't enough, we were condescendingly said goodbye as we walked and the other waitress even laughed at us ... Something like that doesn't work at all!

Unfriendly staff and stomach ache after visiting. But it was sad that the waitress doesn't know the menu.

The starters are delicious. The main courses are ok for the price. The Greek wines are also very delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is courteous and very friendly. You can definitely go here with friends, acquaintances or relatives. We will go here more often.

Very tasty food, nice service. That we came with Schlemmerblock wasn't a problem either. Lovely again!

Unfortunately, we forgot to present the gourmet block yesterday evening. When paid, it was then not accepted. This is very annoying. In other restaurants this was never a problem afterwards. In addition to this, the waiter also accepted that the dog was allowed to sit / lie on the corner bench at the neighboring table. The food was ok but won't be back any more.

The service is very friendly and courteous, you are not just left sitting after your order and no longer see a waiter (as is so often the case in other restaurants) on the contrary. All orders were brought quickly and the service was always present. The food was delicious, I can only recommend it. I spent almost 3 hours there with my girlfriend, just lovely. Always my pleasure. :)

We loved the food. The service was very good and brisk. We all enjoyed the starters and the main course was very plentiful and well prepared. We would love to come back. :-)

The visit was great! I have been there with my family, including an elderly lady with walking difficulties and another dog. Will we be allowed in with a dog? No problem! The service staff were all super friendly and also available for a little chat with my grandma. The place was clean and tidy. The toilets were also clean and tidy - not the most modern furnishings and equipment but clean and tidy. The waitress came quickly. Despite the larger company that celebrated there, we were served quickly and with the greatest care. Drinks and food were fresh and delicious. We mainly had meat dishes and a fish dish. Great taste and optics. If I want to eat Greek again, I will visit this place. Deserved 5 stars!

I always feel comfortable here right from the start. The hosts are always friendly and personable. The menu is not overloaded, which indicates that quality and not quantity is important here. The prices are justified for the size of the servings. And - most importantly - I've always enjoyed it. Please continue.

I was lucky to visit Poseidon on my trip to Groß-Umstadt, and enjoyed a delicious meal and drink. The staff were incredibly kind, courteous and welcoming; and the restaurant was charming and cozy. If you visit, I highly recommend the Schnitzel (They have very large portions - I couldn't finish mine) and mulled wine. I look forward to returning to Poseidon on my next visit to Groß-Umstadt!
